To celebrate, we hosted an unforgettable Christmas Party and Awards Night aboard the luxurious Oasis boat on the stunning Brisbane River. It was a night filled with shimmer, shine, and celebration of the talent and legacy that defines Stefan Hair.

The highlight of the evening was a moment of immense pride and joy as Stefan Ackerie, our visionary founder, was presented with the keys to the city by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Adrian Schrinner. This prestigious recognition celebrated not only Stefan’s remarkable 60-year journey in the hairdressing industry but also his enduring contributions to the community and his visionary leadership that shaped an iconic brand.
The Shimmer and Shine Hair Show
The evening was elevated by the dazzling "Shimmer and Shine" hair show, where 14 of our most talented stylists showcased their creativity and expertise in a fierce competition. From glittering waves to iridescent updos, the runway sparkled with bold, imaginative styles that embodied the evening’s theme.
The stakes were high—competing for the grand prize of a lifetime: an all-expenses-paid trip to Coachella 2025 to style hair for celebrities and festival-goers. Each stylist brought their A-game, proving once again why Stefan Hair is synonymous with excellence and artistry in hair design.
A Magical Setting on the Brisbane River
The Oasis boat provided the perfect backdrop for the night’s celebrations. Cruising along the Brisbane River, guests enjoyed panoramic views of the city’s skyline while indulging in gourmet cuisine and dancing the night away. The festive atmosphere was contagious, with shimmering decorations and twinkling lights creating a truly magical experience.
