Last week, selected top performing stylists had the amazing opportunity of entering a Styling competition judged by none other than Kevin Murphy himself! If you are unfamiliar with the brand or the namesake, Kevin Murphy is a master of his profession; When it comes to understanding the transformative power of hair, nobody does it better than Kevin Murphy. With his work featured on the covers of major global print publications and hair teams directed for numerous high-profile fashion houses, Kevin's expertise is unrivaled. After honing his skills at Vidal Sassoon in London, he brought his talents back to Australia where he quickly became one of the country's most sought-after stylists. It was here that he created the brand we all know and love today.

For the styling competition, our Stylists had 1 hour and 30 minutes to create a look (using Kevin Murphy products of course!) that were not only on trend, but could also be used as inspiration for a guest in salon. The winners of this competition would win a place to style as part of the Kevin Murphy styling team at Australian Fashion Week in NSW!
